3. Eligibility
Participation is open to natural persons worldwide who have reached the age of 18 at the time of entry and who have a valid, publicly visible LinkedIn profile. Participation is only permitted to the extent that it is lawful under the law applicable at the participant's place of residence.
Employees of the organiser and of companies affiliated with the organiser, members of the jury and their respective relatives are excluded from participation.
Each person may enter with multiple submissions.
4. How to Enter
Participation is free of charge and takes place exclusively via LinkedIn. To enter, the participant must:
- Create one or more booth concept(s) on the topic of My Home Country using the ai booth designer.
- Publish a public post on LinkedIn containing 1 to 3 images of these designs.
- Use the hashtag #octanormAIContest in the post.

Only posts that meet all of the above requirements and are publicly visible to the organiser count as a valid entry. The post must remain publicly visible until the judging has been completed.
Participation is independent of the purchase of any goods or services. The ai booth designer can be used under the free Free plan; further information can be found on our pricing page.
5. Requirements for Contest Entries
The submitted designs must relate to the chosen home country and must have been created with the ai booth designer.
The participant warrants that:
- the submitted entries are free from third-party rights,
- no copyright, trademark, personality or other third-party rights are infringed,
- no official logos of tourism organisations and no motifs from existing tourism campaigns are used,
- the entries contain no unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, violence-glorifying, immoral or otherwise objectionable content.
Entries that breach these requirements may be excluded from the Contest by the organiser without stating reasons.
6. Jury and Judging
The submitted entries are judged by an expert jury of four people appointed by the organiser:
- Christopher Sicurella (Fairconstruction),
- Jan Götze (DO IT!),
- Benjamin Bruder (octanorm),
- Joachim Kopf (octanorm).
The jury assesses the entries in particular according to the following criteria:
- design quality,
- creativity and originality,
- execution of the chosen home country.
The jury decides at its reasonable discretion and its decision is final. There is no entitlement to a statement of reasons for the decision. Recourse to the courts is excluded.
7. Prize
The winner receives a free "Ultimate" annual subscription to the ai booth designer worth €1,860.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be paid out in cash or exchanged for other benefits. The subscription runs for a period of 12 months from activation and does not renew automatically.
8. Winner Notification and Award of the Prize
The winner will be notified via LinkedIn (e.g. by direct message) after the judging has been completed, expected by 1 September 2026.
If the winner does not respond within 2 days of notification with the information required to process the prize, the claim to the prize lapses. In this case the organiser reserves the right to designate another entry as the winner.
9. Rights of Use to the Entries
By entering, the participant grants the organiser the non-exclusive, royalty-free right, unlimited in time and territory, to use the submitted entries in connection with the Contest. This includes in particular the publication, reproduction and making available to the public of the entries – for example as part of the announcement, the promotion and the publication of the winners – on the organiser's channels (e.g. website, social media, newsletter, print media).
Where possible and customary, the organiser will credit the author when using an entry. This does not give rise to any claim to remuneration. The copyright in the entries remains with the participant.
10. Data Protection
The organiser processes participants' personal data (e.g. name, LinkedIn profile, submitted entries and, in the event of a win, the contact details required to award the prize) exclusively for the purpose of running and administering the Contest.
The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the participation relationship) and otherwise the organiser's legitimate interest in running and promoting the Contest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Naming the winner and, where applicable, publishing their image as part of the public announcement is based on separately obtained consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the stated purposes. Participants have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Any consent given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
Further information on the processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy. Data protection enquiries can be directed to our data protection officer at datenschutzbeauftragter@octanorm.de.
Please note: When using LinkedIn, LinkedIn's own privacy provisions apply in addition, over which the organiser has no influence.
11. Exclusion from Participation
The organiser reserves the right to exclude persons from participation who breach these terms and conditions, use unfair means, manipulate the Contest or otherwise obtain an advantage. In such cases prizes already awarded may be revoked retrospectively and reclaimed.
12. Early Termination of the Contest
The organiser reserves the right to cancel, terminate or amend the Contest at any time without prior notice and without stating reasons if proper execution cannot be guaranteed for technical, legal or other reasons. Participants derive no claims from this.
13. Liability
The organiser is not liable for damage arising from participation in the Contest or from technical faults (e.g. LinkedIn outages, transmission errors, lost entries), unless such damage is based on intent or gross negligence on the part of the organiser or concerns injury to life, body or health. Otherwise the organiser's liability is excluded.
14. Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
Recourse to the courts is excluded.
